Volunteers:
I am very excited to have my great friend Mrs. Sheryl St. Aubin who will be our troops Assistant Troop Leader Volunteer. Together we will be heading up the Daisy Troop for Hudson. We welcome and encourage any Parents/Guardians of Daisies who would like to register to become a volunteer in our troop to Please do so. We will need help in areas such as, snack coordinator, trip coordinator, finance coordinator, etc. I will have registration forms at the Welcome meeting. Or you can simply register online at http://www.gswcf.org. Girl or adult membership is $15 per year.
Meetings:
Our Daisy Troop meetings are going to be held every week on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Meetings will cost $1.00 per meeting, which will be due prior to each meeting. Our meeting location will be at a public facility which is still TBD, and I will notify everyone with a welcome invitation within the next week as to where. There will be a
Welcome meeting for Parents/Guardians and Daisies who are planning on joining (if you haven't done so already) on Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30 pm at the TBD location. There we will be handing out welcome packets, introducing yourselves and your daisies, introducing to you who the Girl Scouts are, making a craft, and handing out welcome certificates and Daisy pins to registered Daisies.
Uniforms:
Uniforms for daisies are the blue tunic or blue vest. All uniforms, patches, pins, clothes, merchandise is located online at http://www.girlscoutshop.com. You may order the uniform at anytime. Our troop n umber is 50401. You may order the number patches if you would like to, but it is not a requirement. And your welcome to take as long as you need to to order anything. We will be ordering and distributing the patches to the girls as they earn them.
These are just a few topics I wanted to cover to help get you going with registering your girl(s) or yourselves as members. And to get your girls uniform if you would like to for the upcoming welcome meeting.
